This venue, once instrumental in manufacturing uniforms for the Civil War Union Army and the US World War II Army, now serves as a community gathering point,... echoing the spirit of the original villagers who centered their lives around the mill. The restaurant's commitment to preserving this heritage is evident throughout its design; original woodwork has been meticulously restored, revealing Haverstraw clay brick beneath seventeen layers of paint. Guests will find a bar crafted from reclaimed wood, original machine joices for uniforms still adorning the ceilings, and a bar wall constructed from stair treads salvaged from New York City buildings. Hudson's Mill embraces the essence of a tavern, offering a welcoming atmosphere where friends and family can connect, reminiscent of the feeling of home for those on the road.
