Dog-friendly Locanda Amalfi, established in 2020, brings the authentic flavors of the Italian Riviera to Pleasanton. This trendy, warm establishment specializes in Neapolitan thin-crust pizza, pasta, and small bites, a culinary vision brought to life by Enzo Rosano in partnership with Francesco Esposito and Emanuele Ghirani.... Francesco, a certified 'Master Pizzaiuolo' from Naples, honed his skills at Locanda Ravello before co-founding Locanda Amalfi. Emanuele, who arrived from Florence in 2016, transitioned from a dental lab career to serving delicious Italian fare. United by a passion for authentic cuisine and Italian hospitality, these three Italians from diverse backgrounds aim to delight the Bay Area with mouth-watering dishes.
