Pizzeria Pulcinella, a dog-friendly establishment, transports diners to Naples with its authentic Neapolitan pizzas, crafted in a Valoriani wood-fired oven imported directly from Italy. This specialized oven, a favorite among Pizzaioli across Italy, bakes pizzas in approximately 90 seconds, a crucial element for true Pizza... Napoletana. Established in 2008, Pizzeria Pulcinella is the newest member of the Vince's Italian Restaurants family, a return to the roots of Vince's, which Vince and Ada Mottola founded in 1957 after immigrating from Naples. Vince Jr., alongside partners Fred Martichuski and David Dorough, has proudly managed Vince's for over 25 years, bringing nearly a century of combined pizza-making experience and firsthand knowledge of Naples' pizzerias to the creation of Pulcinella. Every effort has been made to meticulously replicate the Neapolitan pizza-making process, utilizing flour and tomatoes sourced from Naples. Vince Jr. makes annual trips to Naples, visiting family and gathering insights from friends at local favorite restaurants and pizzerias. Beyond its signature pizzas, the menu at this dog-friendly spot also features classic Italian dishes such as Lasagna and Cannelloni, refreshing Salads, Antipastos, homemade Desserts, a curated selection of fine Italian wines, and Peroni Beer on tap. The name "Pulcinella," pronounced pool-chee-nel-la, is derived from a beloved character of Italian Commedia dell'Arte and has become a cherished symbol of Naples, fitting for a Neapolitan Pizzeria.
