This vibrant, sixteen-seat take-out spot, established in 2017, offers a welcoming atmosphere and features a heated... outdoor Margarita Garden with a stone fire quesadilla oven, a new addition for 2022. Guests can also pull up a seat at the bar to enjoy one of the restaurant's famous fresh fruit margaritas. The Lucharitos brand, which has expanded to include locations in Greenport, Mattituck, Riverhead, Center Moriches, and Melville, is deeply rooted in community and resilience. The original Greenport "mothership" restaurant, established in 2014, began as a humble 750-square-foot space. After two years of perfecting its signature tacos and margaritas, it grew into a 71-seat venue with 21 bar seats. The name "Lucharitos" itself, meaning "little fighter," reflects the family's journey of overcoming illness and rebuilding after Hurricane Sandy. Tequila remains a central focus, with over 50 varieties available, alongside popular fresh fruit margaritas, cold Mexican beers, and local craft brews, all designed to complement the lively environment.
