Since its establishment on December 15, 1999, Gracie's has been a cornerstone of Vallejo's dining scene, offering authentic Georgia Southern sweet tea, hearty red beans and rice, char-grilled tri-tip, and ribs smoked to perfection. This dog-friendly restaurant began as a small barbecue take-out concession on Springs Road,... founded by Ken Ingersoll, a Vallejo native seeking new opportunities after a refinery incident. In 1995, Ken transformed an old gas station into the beloved Gracie's, named in honor of his daughter, embodying the American Dream. Ken attributes the success of this establishment, and its flavorful menu, to both its dedicated employees and loyal customers, who have helped it flourish into more than just a converted gas station with attractive landscaping.
