The owner, a former Marine and retired firefighter/medic who... sustained an injury leading to early retirement from the fire service, envisioned A Taste of Sunrise as a community hub. The renovation of the building, completed with some assistance during the 2020 pandemic, aimed to create a warm and inviting space. In recognition of their service, A Taste of Sunrise Coffee House provides a 50% discount to all fellow First Responders, Active Military, and Veterans upon presentation of their status.
