Villa Macri Ristorante, a dog-friendly establishment, traces its roots back to 1980 when Jerry Macri opened the 25-seat Macri's Deli in Mishawaka, Indiana. The deli quickly gained a following for its freshly made sandwiches, salads, and a signature 34 oz. frosty mug of beer, leading to expansions of seating capacity within five... years. Further growth followed as the menu expanded. In 1997, a new shopping center was constructed to house an expanded Macri's Deli. A decade later, Jerry Macri embarked on a new concept, creating Toscana Park, a lifestyle center named in honor of his mother. Macri's Deli was then integrated into a new restaurant, Villa Macri, situated at the heart of Toscana Park, which opened its doors in 2008. This transformed venue offers a diverse dining experience, from casual to upscale, with distinct themed rooms. Guests can find old favorites from Macri's Deli in the sports room, complete with numerous large televisions, or explore semi-private dining areas suitable for large parties and banquets. The restaurant also boasts the area's largest martini bar and a patio overlooking a beautiful landscape, providing a welcoming atmosphere where dogs are welcome.
