Land Grant Brewing Company, a dog-friendly establishment established in 2014, offers a 3,000 sq. ft. taproom designed for gathering and enjoying craft beer. Patrons can belly up to the bar to chat with certified beer-servers and brewers, or gather at 24-ft. communal tables custom-built by MINOH. The venue provides views of... Franklinton through its front windows and features a patio for enjoying crisp fall air. A semi-private Kickstarter Room is available for small parties. This establishment was born from a passion for meticulously crafted beer, impactful design, and a devotion to midwestern sports, with its founding driven by alumni Adam and Walt's dream of returning to Columbus. Before establishing the 2,500 BBL capacity brewing facility, the concept was tested with a successful Kickstarter Campaign launched in 2012. Land Grant brewed its inaugural batch on October 16, 2014, and opened its doors on October 18, 2014. The bar boasts a rotating selection of Land-Grant's own beers, alongside a curated list of guest drafts, with a full range of liquor and wine also available for non-beer drinkers. The founding team, comprising individuals with backgrounds in business, brewing, design, photography, and pharmacology, is united by a commitment to producing championship-quality craft beer, a commitment exemplified by Gus, the basset hound.
