The Pappasito's Cantina legacy traces back to H.D. Pappas, who journeyed from Greece in 1897 with a profound dedication to quality and service that laid the foundation for his success across Tennessee, Arkansas, and Texas. This same principle of excellence was passed down to his sons, Pete and Jim, whose own venture into the restaurant equipment and supply business with Pappas Refrigeration in 1945 would ultimately lead Jim's sons to honor their grandfather's vision by opening their first restaurant in 1976.
