Buona Caffe Artisan Roasted Coffee, a dog-friendly establishment, has been delighting coffee aficionados since its inception in 2010. What began as an internet-based venture by John and Pat Curry, driven by a passion for exceptional, freshly roasted coffee, has blossomed into a multi-location coffee destination. Initially... shipping their artisanal roasts nationwide, the Currys soon expanded to supplying local restaurants and establishing a presence at the Augusta Market on the River, while also becoming a purveyor of specialty coffee brewing equipment. In 2013, the company transitioned its operations into a charming 1930s cottage, unveiling a coffee bar that featured classic espresso drinks and delectable house-made pastries. The roastery’s capacity grew further in 2018 with a move to 520 Reynolds and the opening of a second location within the Georgia Cyber Center. Most recently, in 2023, a cozy cafe was established at the roastery itself, offering guests a direct connection to the craft. This establishment proudly roasts Jaguar Java, the official coffee of Augusta University, and continues to serve coffee shops, restaurants, and hotels with both their signature roasts and brewing equipment. The menu at Buona Caffe Artisan Roasted Coffee includes a variety of espresso drinks, organic loose-leaf teas, made-from-scratch pastries, and both breakfast and toasted sandwiches, alongside specialty coffee brewing equipment and corporate coffee gift options.
