Brew'd Awakening Coffeehaus, a community-oriented coffeehouse established in 2005, welcomes four-legged friends to its relaxing and spirited atmosphere. This establishment offers a diverse menu featuring expertly roasted single-origin coffees, including "The Dancer" (Cambodian beans roasted Full City), "The Poet" (Nicaraguan... medium roast), "The Photographer" (Costa Rican espresso and cold brew bean, Full City roast), and "The Painter" (dark-roasted Ethiopian bean). Patrons can also enjoy a variety of green, black, herbal, matcha, and chai teas, with a selection being Fair Trade and/or Organic. New to the offerings are coffeehouse cocktails, with classics like Irish Coffee and Espresso Martini alongside unique creations incorporating cold brew and teas. For those seeking a meal, Brew'd Awakening Coffeehaus serves bagel and pressed sandwiches throughout the day, with vegetarian, turkey, ham, and chicken options, including gluten-free bread availability. Lighter fare includes salads, such as one with cranberries, walnuts, and spinach, and another featuring apples, bacon, and pecans. Acai Bowls, a popular choice, blend acai berry, strawberries, and bananas, topped with fresh fruit, granola, and chia seeds, with optional additions of coconut or peanut butter. A tempting assortment of muffins, bagels, and other baked goods are also available. Inside, the cozy venue accommodates approximately 35 people with comfortable couches, chairs, and tables, creating a homey feel distinct from corporate coffee shops. While weekend mornings can be busy with potentially limited seating, the restaurant's vibrant energy is fueled by a motley crew of staff whose musical tastes span reggae, jazz, classic rock, oldies, pop, and punk.
